By booking this activity you agree to this Waiver of Liability. This Kayak / SUP rental agreement is between Adventures Kayaking, “Lessor” and the Renter(s), being all persons going on this rental purchase with Lessor. Digital signature / Payment for tour by or on behalf of Renter constitutes acceptance of terms, and that these terms apply to all adult and non-adult family members.
This agreement constitutes a WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, whereby the Renter agrees to release, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify Lessor and its owners, agents, officers and employees from any and all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of Renter’s use of kayaking or paddleboarding equipment, premises or facilities or Renter’s participation in kayaking or paddle sports activities.
Renter understands they are releasing, discharging and waiving any claims or actions at the present time or in the future for the negligent acts, omissions or other conduct by the owners, agents, officers or employees of Adventures Kayaking.
RENTER EXPRESSLY ASSUMES THE RISKS OF THE ACTIVITY AND RELEASES from liability for negligence and HOLDS HARMLESS the Lessor, its owner and its employees for any loss, expense or cost, including attorney fees, arising out of any damages or injuries whether to persons or property, occurring as a result of the rental.
What to expect
Paddle the beautiful Big Hickory Island and Estero Bay estuary, where we routinely encounter beautiful shorebirds, dolphins, and even manatee (March-October). You can explore the web of mangrove tunnels as well as the open channels around the island.
The west side of the island is a beautiful beach that is much less visited than most since there is no road or pedestrian access. This beach is blessed with currents that wash up an unbelievable bounty of sea shells... you will be amazed! Bookings are for a 2-hour rental... you can stay out longer for a small additional hourly rate.
