Big Hickory Island preserve is on south Fort Myers Beach on Estero Boulevard. You can easily get directions to our launch location by opening your map app on your phone and entering GPS location "26.366976, -81.856623", then "Directions". Look for our ADVENTURES KAYAKING trailer at mid island.

By booking this activity you agree to this Waiver of Liability. This Kayak / SUP rental agreement is between Adventures Kayaking, “Lessor” and the Renter(s), being all persons going on this rental purchase with Lessor. Digital signature / Payment for tour by or on behalf of Renter constitutes acceptance of terms, and that these terms apply to all adult and non-adult family members.
This agreement constitutes a WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, whereby the Renter agrees to release, discharge, hold harmless, defend and indemnify Lessor and its owners, agents, officers and employees from any and all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of Renter’s use of kayaking or paddleboarding equipment, premises or facilities or Renter’s participation in kayaking or paddle sports activities.
Renter understands they are releasing, discharging and waiving any claims or actions at the present time or in the future for the negligent acts, omissions or other conduct by the owners, agents, officers or employees of Adventures Kayaking.
RENTER EXPRESSLY ASSUMES THE RISKS OF THE ACTIVITY AND RELEASES from liability for negligence and HOLDS HARMLESS the Lessor, its owner and its employees for any loss, expense or cost, including attorney fees, arising out of any damages or injuries whether to persons or property, occurring as a result of the rental.
What to expect

Big Hickory Island
One of our fun and well-trained guides takes you through the island mangrove tunnels in search of wildlife. We typically encounter dolphins, osprey, pelicans and shorebirds, and are on the hunt for manatees during the warm water months (Mar-Oct). On the west side beach on Big Hickory Island is one of the best shelling beaches in the area... and the only way there is by watercraft!
